About Me

Hi! My name is Jessica Eidens, and I am the founder of Betrayed Families. I created this coaching and consulting organization to expand my reach in helping families worldwide access the support they need and deserve on their healing journey. I have been working with children and families for over 14 years now and working with parents facing complex issues such as substance abuse, domestic violence, mental illness, sex addiction, and betrayal trauma. Throughout the years working with people, I have come to realize that parents want better for their children than they had and children want to know what happened to them. As a coach and consultant, I bring my years of experience working with people and my expertise as a therapist, trainer, and supervisor to provide the much-needed education and guidance to families worldwide. With conviction and a giant leap of faith, I have established a coaching and consulting business to offer my services to a broader audience. I hope that Betrayed Families will become a safe, hope-inducing hub for families seeking guidance and support along this challenging life journey.

I am uniquely qualified to provide support for children, young and old, impacted by sex addiction and betrayal trauma because I have been trained as a systemic professional and gained the necessary certifications to therapeutically support all parts of the system (CSAT through IITAP and CCPS through APSATS). These unique qualifications position me perfectly to provide an expert level of systemic family support to my clients.

You can learn more about how Betrayed Families came to be here. Still, please know that this has been a passion project for me, starting with a need, evolving into a training, and now expanding into a coaching and consulting business. I am excited to take this next step and feel privileged to work with the families I support. I am constantly amazed by the fierce love I get to witness in this role.

Much of my work over the last 10 years has been focused primarily on the impacts of problematic sexual behavior and betrayal trauma on the family system. While the field has expanded somewhat over the years, there is a significant need that we, as professionals, still need to address. If you are a professional who has stumbled upon this page, I welcome you and encourage you to reach out directly for consultation, supervision, or to join a Betrayed Families Training through APSATS. Alternatively, you can visit the resources page here for materials designed to support you in serving families and children. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive, and competent community to serve the numerous families who are trying to navigate their healing journey alone.

I intend to support each family uniquely and respectfully, because each family and individual deserves a specialized support program.

I am so glad you are here.

 Warmly,

Jessica Eidens

Jessica lives in Washington State with her husband Eric, who is also a CSAT and licensed marriage and family therapist where they have a shared private practice, Eidens Therapy Group.
